Without Makeup: Rinse your face with warm water. With a clean, dry utensil or hand, scoop a small amount of Cleanse & Comfort – The Balm and massage the balm onto your entire face. Moisten the Facial Cleansing Cloth with warm water and gently press the cloth onto your entire face, allowing the warmth to open your pores. Using soft, circular motions, cleanse your face a section at a time with the cloth, utilizing the woven side for the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin and the fleece side* for the areas around the eyes and mouth, if desired. Your face is now clean, calm and ready for your moisturizing regimen. Want a nourishing, yet incredibly easy option? Simply reapply a small amount of Cleanse & Comfort – The Balm to your clean, moist skin and you’re ready to go!
With Makeup: Rinse your face well with warm water and then apply Cleanse & Comfort – The Balm as directed above, gently loosening any areas of makeup buildup with the balm and massaging thoroughly. Rinse well again before utilizing the Facial Cleansing Cloth as indicated above.
* If you have sensitive skin, you may use the fleece side in all of the areas you tend to experience sensitivity.
Suggested Daily Self Care Ritual
Take 3 deep breaths, gently stretch your arms and allow your shoulders to relax. Mindfully follow the above directions for cleansing, and feel good about taking this time to care for your skin. When you reapply the balm, massage your face in gentle circles with the pads of your fingers, bringing awareness to the facial muscles and allowing them to soften as you breathe and release any tension in your face. Try soft circles around your eyes, and increase the pressure slightly in small circles across your forehead, cheeks and jawline.
